K-TECK NIOBIUM wears plate is a specific purpose of wear plate to increase life cycle over traditional chrome carbide wear plate. More suited to fixed plant applications with -150 ore size that is typically seen for MEDIUM WEAR ABRASION with MEDIUM IMPACT applications. The matrix structure is an Austenitic high chrome carbide saturation of more than 35% of chrome, which meets the ASTM G65-04 dry sand rubber wheel test of fewer than 0.26 grams loss.
