MILLSPEC SERIES
K-TECK Mill spec is a SMOOTH wear plate and is a non-directional wear plate with a hardness of up to 60Rc and is also available in Tungsten and Niobium Grades to suit almost all the applications. With a high saturation of M7c3 Carbide its best utilized for anti-hang up or carry back where the application will polish within 30 days of installation for best results in the coefficient of friction in reducing hang up or carry back. The MIL-SPEC will polish in service over time in the application. In the event that it will not polish in service, for best results use the SUPER GLIDE series wear plate that would be suited to the application. It’s typical of using three matrix grades in one application of service to maximize the cost versus efficiency of the life cycles.
